Thank you for your interest in the Narbonne High School Parent Teacher
Association (NHS PTA).
We are a small yet enthusiastic group of parents who happily support NHS teachers, staff and students. Our teachers and administration work hard to help ALL of the kids be the best they can be, why not return the favor and volunteer at NHS. We are always looking for new parents to join. Here are a few things we do:
- PTA welcomes our teachers & staff back to school each year with a special continental breakfast.
- Last year we donated eight $500.00 grants to teachers to be used in their classrooms to directly impact their students. For example: Our cooking class teacher purchased cook-wear and utensils, a History teacher purchased current world maps.
- We hold a monthly White Elephant Swap Meet that is open to the public on the 3rd Saturday of every month. We have a food concession stand where we help volunteer students to organize supplies, do the cooking, and learn to work together as a team.
- PTA also organizes the yearly Grad Night activity and is looking for new ways to support our school and students.
Our meetings are held at the school once each month at 4pm – all parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. See for yourself what goes on at NHS - it’s your last chance to be a part of your child’s school life and it’s not to late to volunteer.
