Mrs. Carol Prudhomme
Hi, I am Carol Prudhomme, the Small Learning Communities Coordinator. I am excited to be directly involved in implementing nine SLCs at Narbonne as a means of improving student achievement. This is an excellent opportunity for both students and teachers to create educational bonds that translate into student success and teacher gratification.
My major responsibility is to be of service to all SLCs in addressing their educational and financial needs whenever possible. I inform them of available conferences, oversee the SLC budgets, facilitate SLC Council meetings, coordinate SLC banked-time professional development days, and assist the SLC administrator in completing SLC documents and reports, communicating with stake holders and consultants, and developing new funding sources. Besides being of services to others, I also see my role as inspiring both my colleagues as well as students to embrace life with a positive attitude of working together as a team to accomplish the best of what life has to offer all of us on our educational journey together. |
