Math Science Magnet (MSM)

The Math/Science Magnet program offers a rigorous and stimulating curriculum designed for the gifted and academically talented in English, social sciences, mathematics, and science.  Students in the Math/Science Magnet follow a rigorous college-bound academic program, including a requirement of four years of math and four years of science courses. The academic program provides for college-bound students by offering honors level as well as Advanced Placement courses in more than 20 topics. Under the Los Angeles Unified School Districts voluntary integration program, the MSM enrolls approximately 425.

Magnet Office Closed for the Summer.
The Magnet Office will reopen on August 19, 2010.
Fall 2010 Registration
Registration packets for the Fall 2010 semester were distributed on 29 May in 2nd period. These are to be competed and returned by the students no later than 21 June 2010, either to their 2nd period class or to the Attendance Office.

Registration for the Fall 2010 semester will take place on 25 August 2010 through 2 September 2010.
