Write a note explaining why your child was absent. Give the exact days of the absence (if it was a partial-day absence give the periods of the absence. Be sure to include both the dates and the days of the week. Your child should drop this note off in the box in the Attendance Office on the way into school in the morning. This should be done on the first day back to school after the absence. How do I found out about a reunion of my graduating class? Narbonne High School itself is not associated with any reunions; they are all planned and conducted by individuals or alumni associations. Please select the Alumni pull down menu on the home page to see links to currently known alumni groups. You may also visit the Memoir section (again on the home page) as some times people post information on reunions there. How do I register my child? The Attendance Office handles student enrollment. Please note that certain documentation is required (such as proof of residency, record of immunization, etc.). You need to contact the instructor directly. There are three ways you can
do this;
1) Send a note requesting a meeting to the instructor with your child. 2) Call the Main Office and leave a message for the instructor to call you. You will find the Main Office's phone number in the Narbonne Telephone Directory (it is the third item on the Contact Us page). 3) Send the instructor an email message. You can do this by going to the Faculty & Staff link on the home page, finding the person you want and selecting “Send E-Mail.” How do I contact my child’s counselor? You may contact the counselor directly. If you do not know the name of your child’s counselor call one of the office techs, they will be able to direct you to the proper counselor. How can I get a list of my child’s absences from school? This is obtained from the Attendance Office. Either you or your child my request a list of the absences. There is generally a 24-hour processing period required for this information. I understand that I can get weekly reports on my child’s grades. How do I do this? Contact your child’s counselor (see How do I contact my child’s counselor?). They can arrange for your child to pick up a Weekly Progress Report each Friday and have it completed by each of his/her instructors.
