Electronic Devices/Cell Phone Policy
Possession of i-pods, MP3 players, nano's, psp's, cd players and/or any other recreational electronic devices by students is PROHIBITED DURING SCHOOL HOURS. If a student brings such a device to school, it must remain "off" and be stored in a locker, backpack, purse, pocket, or other place where it is not visible during school hours.  If such a device is observed or heard by school staff, it will be confiscated until redeemed by a parent or guardian.

Students may possess cellular phones.  However, they may only be used during nutrition and lunch.  At all other times - INCLUDING PASSING PERIODS - they must be turned OFF and be stored in a locker, backpack, purse, pocket, or other place where it is not visible.  If a cell phone is observed or heard by school staff, except during nutrition and lunch, it will be confiscated until redeemed by a parent or guardian.

Please be aware that while bringing cell phones to school is permitted it is highly discouraged as there have been numerous thefts of cell phones (and other electronic devices).  Narbonne High encourages you to leave you cell phones at home and NOT to bring them to school.

NARBONNE HIGH SCHOOL WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OF ANY PERSONAL ITEMS (including cell phones and other electronic devises) BROUGHT TO SCHOOL.

TO BE SAFE, DO NOT BRING ELECTRONICS TO SCHOOL.

Photographing, videotaping or otherwise recording individuals without their permission is strictly prohibited.

Exceptions to this policy may be granted by the site administrator for purposes relating to the health needs of a student.
